This workout will boost your metabolism giving you a post workout calorie burn while targeting your waist completely and lifting and tightening up the glutes. So we will burn calories and Fat and specifically target these problem areas.

My method of training includes dynamic movement to lose fat and keep flexibility while keeping muscles long and lean and toned. Hence the name “The Slim Body System”

FAT LOSS MASON JAR OATMEAL RECIPES

1. RASPBERRY AND COCONUT

Ingredients:

  1. Large flake oats, 1/3 cup
  2. Unsweetened almond milk, Vanilla, 1/3 cup
  3. Vanilla extract, one drop
  4. Himalayan salt, pinch
  5. Protein powder, Vanilla, 1 scoop
  6. Chia seeds, 2 tsp.
  7. Sweetener, if you want it sweeter use coconut palm sugar or stevia, or maple syrup
  8. Frozen raspberries, handful
  9. Unsweetened shredded coconut, handful

SHAKE IT UP! Refrigerate overnight. Enjoy in the morning.

2. PEACHES AND MACADAMIA NUT

  4. Himalayan salt, pinch

Yes, I said One Week.

I said it and I meant it. It is absolutely possible to have a flatter stomach in one week regardless of what size you are starting at. I know for many women including myself and especially this time of year…Hello it’s SUMMER…We are really wanting to have a flat belly before we put our bikini on and having competed in Bikini competitions 3 weeks out, I know how to slim down fast in a healthy way.

I’m just going to say, I love to see women of all sizes enjoying the sun at the beach. I’ve never gone to the beach and seen it full of supermodels so don’t beat yourself up about your body not looking ‘perfect’ this summer. Focus on being healthy and feeding yourself nutrient dense foods and your body will change in no time.

Ok, back to How To Get A Flat Stomach In A Week

Let’s start with How To Banish Bloating first.

 Bloating is a very common problem for many women. We now see so many TV commercials about the importance of taking probiotics and many yogurt companies have capitalized on that.

It is a great way to help banish bloating and reestablish healthy bacteria which will help you digest and absorb nutrients properly. I don’t actually eat yogurt myself, as I limit my dairy intake, but my absolute FAVORITE super effective probiotic that I take often is BIO-K Plus. I always recommend this product to my clients when they complain about being constantly bloated and they always tell me that it really works!!

I do use the dairy form in Original, but they also have non-dairy and Bio-K capsules as well.

Why probiotics are important.

Probiotics is one of the most important supplements you can take. Everything from weight loss, depression, anxiety, sluggish digestion and the common cold and flu can be helped by the use of probiotics.

Did you know that 80% of your immune system is found in your gut?

Beneficial bacteria also help keep Candida yeast in check. If Candida yeast gets out of control it can definitely cause unwanted weight gain plus make it difficult to lose weight.

Tip #1

So my first tip to getting a flat stomach in a week is work on boosting your beneficial bacteria in your gut. Now, if you don’t want to use Bio-K Plus you can start eating fermented raw sauerkraut, apple cider vinegar, kombucha, miso and kefir. These are all good foods to include in your diet often.

Bio-k Plus works very fast as it contains 50 billion bacteria per pot and I drink the whole pot. I suggest one pot a day for 6 days or one capsule a day for 15 days. Once you introduce this healthy bacteria into your system you will quickly see your digestion improve and yes your stomach will definitely be flatter, but you will also feel good.

When your bloated all the time you are uncomfortable in your own skin and it causes irritability and restlessness and leads to even more eating…especially sugar. 

Which brings me to the second tip to get a Flat Stomach in a Week.

Watch your Sugar Intake!

Tip #2

Watch your sugar intake for obvious reasons as sugar triggers your body to release the fat storage hormone insulin. Any excess sugar that is not used by your body for energy gets turned to fat for storage. If you want to lose weight you want to access your own fat stores for energy and to do this you need to stop spiking your insulin!

Also as I just mentioned Candida yeast causes bloating and is fed by SUGAR. If you eat sugar and instantly you are bloated and lethargic then you should consider a Candida diet. My Flat Belly Diet Plan includes recipes that are Candida friendly and kill yeast in the gut as well.

Tip #3.

The third tip to get a Flat Stomach in a week is to eat clean protein to stabilize blood sugar and prevent cravings which lead to overeating which leads to more bloating. You see the pattern here? Your digestion is a big piece to this puzzle.

There are other nutrient dense highly absorbable protein super foods you can add to your diet to promote healthy bacteria and kill yeast, such as spirulina powder. I love this green super food! Tip #4

I bet you can guess tip number 4 is EXERCISE!

Of course don’t forget that!!

More specifically, I suggest a good Hiit workout that also targets your abs, like my YouTube workout video 9 MOVES TO A FLAT STOMACH 😉 This is a Fat-Burning Ab Workout designed to give you maximum After Burn! Give it a try!

Get a good leg workout in too!

Training your legs and doing Hiit workouts will give the ‘After burn’ Effect meaning you will continue to burn calories many hours after you are finished your workout. You should only do this a couple times a week, depending on your fitness level.

Tip #5.

Tip #5 on How To Get A Flat Stomach In A Week is to reduce processed foods.

I could also say reduce sodium, but I don’t think it is that simple. We need sodium. I love my Himalayan salt and I use quite a bit of it in all my dishes! Delicious and full of minerals and trace minerals this salt is my #1 choice.

Table salt and ‘seasonings’ used in processed foods and also in restaurant food can and will definitely make you bloated and maybe feel not so good. I know it’s difficult if you like to eat out often, but try for one week to make your own food at home. I have many easy to prepare recipes in My Flat Belly Diet Plan

If you choose to eat out, choose real foods, there are always options. Stay away from creamy sauce drenched dishes. Choose instead fish, grilled or steamed veggies, or a salad with an olive oil dressing on the side.

One more thing, if you love cheese in your sandwiches, as most of us do, try one slice instead of 3….cheese is REALLY high in sodium! Simply reducing your cheese intake will help to reduce bloating and also help you lose weight.

Tip #6

Tip number 6 to get a Flat Stomach In A Week is to Reduce Stress.

Relax.

fitnesspark8Get in nature and hug a tree…well, you don’t have to actually hug a tree, but just hanging out in nature has been shown to increase feel good hormones like serotonin which will naturally reduce stress. I often run outside in an area full of trees and away from traffic. Stress causes us to produce cortisol which causes belly fat. If you are over exercising and your life is full of busy-ness then definitely take time out to relax and de-stress.

Nature is my number one choice and it’s easy to do. An Epsom bath is another way to relax. Magnesium, in this case Magnesium Sulfate, is a well known way to relax the body and muscles. If your a not a bath person, maybe go for a massage, or try a yoga class. Find out what would relax you….and make time to do that for yourself.

I am also using Omega 3-6-9 oils and extra virgin olive oil which has wonderful benefits to promote healthy glowing skin. Eating these healthy fats are good for weight loss, hormone balancing, good for your brain, heart, and digestive system.

BEAUTY BASIL PESTO DRESSING AND DIP

Ingredients:

  • Basil, 1 large bunch
  • Parsley, 1 large handful
  • Romaine lettuce, 1 head use all large outer leaves and keep the smaller leaves for dipping
  • Garlic, 1-3 cloves. Start with one large and taste. I used 3 large!
  • Cayenne pepper, pinch
  • Himalayan salt, dash
  • Fresh lemon juice, half of one medium lemon.
  • Omega 3-6-9 oil, just under 1/4 cup
  • Extra virgin olive oil, 1-2 tablespoons
  • Walnuts, one to two handfuls
  • Water, 1/4 cup or enough to blend

Directions:

Using your blender or food processor add in the water first then remaining ingredients. Blend until desired consistency. I like mine very well blended. Place pesto in the refrigerator for an hour to increase flavor. Then serve with your favorite veggies as a dip.

**** do not heat this recipe as the oils are fragile and NOT for cooking. If you wish to add this as a marinade use extra virgin olive oil only.

  • Cucumber, 1/2
  • Romaine lettuce, 5 leaves (optional)

If you want to sweeten this rejuvenating elixir simply add green apple. Or juice turmeric, ginger, and beet and drink as a shot, then follow with a delicious blend of romaine lettuce, celery, cucumber, lemon, and apple.
